She wants me to get to know her friends and their mother's. It's been about 18 years since I last went to the zoo. I was told that her friend's mother's would be there but I was the only mother who went. Even though I felt out of place and didn't get to see alot, I had a good time. I think my daughter knew the other mother's had changed there minds and didn't have the heart to tell me. Oh and one of her friends brought her boyfriend who seemed to be a bit clingy but she seemed to be somewhat of a ditz herself so I guess that works for them. I really like her but that's just something I noticed. I liked her other friend alot. She actually had conversations with me unlike the other friend who gave all her attention to her clingy boyfriend. She told us alot of funny stories about her trips to the zoo when she was younger. I took pictures and will post them when I get my laptop fixed. I wouldn't dare try uploading anything on this old desktop, it may blow-up.<br /><br />Sunday August 21, 2005<br /><br />I spent all day Sunday working on my computers because:<br /><br />One night two weeks ago I was copying music to my ipod and the next morning I wanted to copy more but it wouldn't let me. I started getting an error message saying it couldn't find the driver for the cd-rom. It was working fine the night before. So I took it to work for someone in our IT dept to fix it. He's had it for two weeks and he can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it. Or maybe he hasn't even tried. I've searched the internet for a driver but I can't find anything. <br /><br />Shouldn't I be able to find a driver somewhere? <br /><br />Should I buy a new CD-rom drive? <br /><br />CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?<br /><br />I'm trying to get my laptop working so I can install DSL. I'm tired of dial-up. <br /><br />I have two desktop computers. One has been down for about a year. I managed to fix that one finally. I had been pecking at it for the last year and I finally hit the right key.
